Simplified Retirement Reporting
Payroll Integrations (PI) is a service that connects your Auris payroll account directly to your retirement plan. Instead of manually logging in to your retirement plan portal after every payroll run, payroll data can move automatically between systems, helping contributions and eligible updates stay in sync with less manual work.
How It Works
When you run payroll in Auris, Payroll Integrations (PI) automatically picks up your retirement contribution data, formats it for your retirement provider, and sends it over, no exports, no uploads, no re-keying.
It also works in reverse. If an employee updates their deferral rate, adds a loan, or makes changes through your retirement plan's portal, those updates flow back to Auris automatically so your payroll records can reflect the latest information for the next applicable payroll.
This is called a 360 integration, which means data flows both ways between Auris and your recordkeeper during the payroll cycle.
What This Means for You
- No more manual data entry between payroll and your retirement portal
- Contribution amounts and deferral changes stay in sync automatically
- Fewer errors from double-entry or missed updates
- Your employees' retirement election updates can flow into Auris without you having to re-enter them.
Good to know: Your Auris payroll account stays the same. There's no new login, no change to how you run payroll, and no additional fee from Auris.
Who's Involved
Once you're connected, three parties work together behind the scenes:
| Who | What they handle |
| Auris | Your payroll platform the system of record for all payroll and employee data. |
| Payroll Integrations (PI) | The integration layer handles all data transmission between Auris and your recordkeeper, and monitors every sync. |
| Your Recordkeeper | Your retirement plan provider (such as Fidelity, Empower, Principal, or Voya). They receive contributions and send back employee election updates. |
PI directly supports 65+ recordkeepers. If you're not sure whether yours is supported, reach out to your financial advisor, TPA, or contact PI directly.
