What Is the Missing Punch Request Feature?
If you forgot to clock in or clock out, you can now submit a request directly from your timecard — no phone calls, emails, or paper forms needed. Your supervisor will review and either approve or decline the request. You will be notified once a decision is made.
| Note: This feature must be enabled by your employer. If you do not see the Request Missing Punch option on your timecard, contact your supervisor or HR. |
How to Submit a Missing Punch Request
Open the Request Form
- Log in and go to your Timecard.
- Find the date where the punch is missing.
- Click Request Missing Punch on that row.
Complete the Form
Fill in all required fields:

| Punch Type | Select Clock In or Clock Out (or other applicable type) |
| Date | The date the punch should have occurred |
| Time | The time you should have clocked in or out |
| Reason | Select from the dropdown |
| Comment (Optional) | Any context that helps your supervisor understand the situation |
| Custom Fields / Job | Complete any additional fields required by your timesheet template |
| Submit | Review all fields for accuracy and click submit. |
A confirmation message confirms your request was sent.
| Tip: Submit your request as soon as you notice the missing punch. Earlier requests are easier for your supervisor to verify and approve. |
How to View Your Request Status
Open your Timecard to see the status of any request you have submitted:
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| In Review | Submitted and awaiting supervisor review. You can still edit or delete it. |
| Approved | The punch has been added to your timecard. |
| Declined | Not approved. The punch will show declined on the timecard. |
How to Edit or Delete a Pending Request
| Note: You can only edit or delete a request while it is in Pending status. Once approved or declined, it cannot be changed. |
Edit a Pending Request
- On your timecard, find the pending request.
- Click Eye Icon to view the request
- Click the Note Pad and Pencil Icon to Unlock the fields to edit the request
- Update the fields you need to change.
Click Submit Request.
Note: Any edits can be reviewed in the rewind time icon next to the Edit Punch Icon
Delete a Pending Request
- On your timecard, find the pending request.
- Click Delete (or the trash icon).
- Confirm deletion in the prompt.
| Note: Deletion is permanent. If you still need the punch corrected, you will need to submit a new request. |
What Notifications Will I Receive?

What Happens After My Request Is Approved?
The punch is added to your timecard immediately and your hours update. The punch is flagged in Punch History to show it came from a Missing Punch Request — this supports payroll accuracy and audit compliance.
| Note: If an approved punch has the wrong time or type, contact your supervisor directly. You cannot edit a punch after it has been approved. |
