Onbarding - E‑Verify: Self‑Service Ownership Transfer
What was happening:
If the person who signed the original E‑Verify MOU left the company, there was no way to transfer ownership in the system. Clients had to work manually with support to issue a new MOU.
What changed:
Admin users can now select Manage Ownership in Manage Onboarding. After confirmation, they are guided through an E‑Verify setup form. When submitted, an email is automatically sent to support@gethired.com to kick off the new MOU process.
Why it matters:
Clients can start the ownership transfer themselves, keeping E‑Verify active and reducing delays, manual work, and compliance risk.

Onboarding - Improved E-Verify Audit Trail
What was happening:
Clients did not have a clear audit trail showing how an E-Verify case was completed or who updated it.
What changed:
Users can now view a full audit trail, including how the case was processed, who updated the status, and when changes occurred. If a closed case has a blank name field, E-Verify automatically closed the case.
Why it matters:
Clients and support teams now have better visibility into E-Verify activity, making it easier to answer questions and confirm what happened.
