032626 Release Notes
Time: Improved Error Handling for Auris CSV Download
What was happening:
When users clicked “Download as Auris.csv” and the file had an invalid paycode, the system opened a new browser tab showing a raw JSON error. It didn’t match how other payroll errors appear and led to confusion.
What changed:
Instead of opening a new browser window, the system now shows a clean, in‑app modal with the error message. It uses the same style as the errors shown during Send to Heartland Payroll, so everything looks and behaves consistently.
Why this matters:
Users now see clear, readable error messages without disruptive pop‑ups. This makes troubleshooting faster and easier, especially for Operations teams.

Time‑Off Policy Name Now Shown in Admininistrator Schedule View
What was happening:
Administrators couldn't see which time‑off policy a request belonged to in the schedule view, even though employees could see it from their side.
What changed:
The system now pulls multiple policies correctly, so the policy name now displays for Administrators in the schedule view.
Why this matters:
- Administrators immediately know which policy applies to each request
- Less confusion and fewer manual checks
- Consistent and accurate information across views

Fix: Incorrect Regular Hour Calculations from ZKT Clock Punches
What was happening:
ZKT clocks weren’t sending break information with punch data. Because of this, the system treated all time as continuous work. Example: An employee showed 83.88 regular hours, when they should have had 40 regular hours with the rest counted as overtime based on rules.
What changed:
A new Breaks tab was added to the ZKT Clock configuration screen:
- The system can now connect break types from Breaks Setup to the ZKT Clock setup
- ZKT clocks can support one designated break type
- Break data now comes through correctly with punch information
Why this matters:
- Regular hours calculate correctly
- Overtime follows configured rules
- Reduces manual corrections
- Time sheets more accurately reflect real worked time and required breaks

Clearer Error Messages for Invalid Accrual Earnings
What was happening:
When clients sent hours to payroll, the process could fail because of incorrect pay code setup. The error messages were vague and didn’t explain what was wrong or what to do next.
What changed:
We updated the error message to clearly state when an accrual pay code is invalid. Example:
“PTO is not a Valid Accrual Earning in Payroll. Please reach out to Support for Assistance.”
Why this matters:
Clients get clearer guidance and spend less time guessing what went wrong.
Time Off Not Showing in Timesheet Details Report
What was happening:
Employees entered time off correctly and it showed in the timesheet, but the Timesheet Details report didn’t display any of it. This caused confusion and support escalations.
What changed:
We fixed the reporting logic so all time off entries appear in both the timesheet and the report.
Why this matters:
- Accurate, complete reporting
- Less time spent reconciling
- Fewer support tickets
- Consistent data everywhere time entries are shown
