These instructions are for payroll accounts with Certified Payroll functionality enabled.
Payroll information must be entered for each day.
Enter the required information on the Time Entry Grid for each employee, for each DAY during the pay period they worked, to ensure it’s recorded on the Certified Payroll Report.
1. Select the Date from the dropdown.
2. Select the WorkClass from the dropdown.
3. Select the Project from the dropdown.
4. Enter the hours under the appropriate earnings types.
Entering regular “non-certified” hours on the same check as certified hours
If an employee worked part of the pay period on a project that requires a certified payroll report, you would enter only the hours for the certified payroll portion as described above.
💡 The remaining hours can be entered as you would for a regular payroll, leaving the WorkClass, Project, and Date dropdowns on that line blank.
