How do I get ZayZoon? Can I set up a demo?

How much does ZayZoon cost?
There is no cost to you, the employer, for this feature. The employees can choose cost or no-cost options when initiating requests.
Does this require any changes to how we run payroll?
No. You run payroll the same way you always have. Repayments simply show up as deductions during your normal run. No new steps. Nothing extra to double-check.
Which employees are eligible?
Hourly, salaried, part-time, and 1099 employees are all supported.
How do my employees sign up for ZayZoon?
Employees can sign up through:
- Recommended: Auris Employee Self-Service (online)
- Auris Payroll+ App: iOS or Android
- ZayZoon’s Website
- ZayZoon App: iOS or Android
During setup, employees must provide:
- Proof of work (time sheets, etc.) unless a time and attendance system is enabled.
- Basic employment details like their company name and job title
- Photo of a government-issued ID
- Direct deposit or pay card information.
How do employees use ZayZoon?
Once earned wages are reported to Auris, they become available in ZayZoon. Employees simply log in, select a payout option and amount, and transfer funds they’ve already earned.
How do employees access ZayZoon?
Employees can view their current earned balance, request an advance, and track repayment status all without leaving the Auris environment or creating a separate login.
Employees can access ZayZoon in Auris in two ways:
Employee Self-Service: Paychecks → ZayZoon Widget → Click Get paid now
Payroll+ App: Paychecks → ZayZoon Widget → Click Get paid now
Do I need to notify Auris if my employee uses ZayZoon?
No. All EWA requests are handled directly through ZayZoon’s integration with Auris.
Are there limits to how much of their wages employees can access?
Typically, employees can access up to 50% of their regular earned wages (Regular wages do not include PTO, Vacation, Sick, Holiday, Overtime, Bonuses, etc.).
- Transaction amounts are limited to $1,000/pay period and $200/day, and only one transaction can be made per day.
- If employees have questions, have them reach out to ZayZoon directly, as they determine wage eligibility.
Can employees make multiple requests per pay period? If yes, how does this show on their paycheck?
ZayZoon transmits an updated amount any time an additional request or a payment is made. One deduction for the updated total will show on the paycheck.
How can I tell if an employee is using ZayZoon?
Any employee who accesses wages through ZayZoon will see a deduction on their paycheck. Clients can also view ZayZoon activity through the ZayZoon Client Dashboard, which can be accessed via the Auris Payroll System.
You will see two separate cards, depending on whether you have participating employees.
How does repayment get collected from employees?
Repayments are handled automatically through payroll. When an employee takes an advance, ZayZoon sends the repayment details to Auris, and the amount is deducted during the next payroll run. No additional action is needed by you!
Does the employee have the option to spread their earned wage access repayment over multiple payrolls?
No, they cannot spread out the repayment.
What should I do if I see a ZayZoon deduction for an employee when processing payroll?
Let it process, do not change anything. ZayZoon deductions are automatically managed through the integration and should not be edited manually. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Payroll Support Team.
What happens if an employee quits or is unable to repay ZayZoon?
Employers are never liable for repayment. ZayZoon will work directly with the employee. In rare situations where repayment cannot be collected, ZayZoon assumes the risk
Who should we contact if we have questions about an employee’s payout?
Have employees contact ZayZoon directly through in-app support or by emailing Support@Zayzoon.com. Employers can reach out to Clients@Zayzoon.com.
Who do employees contact if they have a question about ZayZoon?
Employees should contact ZayZoon directly for any questions about advances, balances, or repayments, or anything else related to their earned wage experience. There is a dedicated ZayZoon Help Center, a virtual AI assistant, and a Customer Care Team to help employees when they need support, or they can email: Support@ZayZoon.com

ZayZoon Virtual Assistant: Provides help 24/7, while agents are available

What if we skip a payroll or process payroll late?
If a payroll is skipped, ZayZoon will collect any owed funds during the next payroll run. Processing payroll late should not impact repayments.
How will ZayZoon appear on Payroll Reports?
Payroll Register:
- Employees will have a ZayZoon deduction for the total amount (including fees)
- Third Party Payments (last page): Individual employee repayments will be listed
Payroll Summary: The third-party electronic payment will contain the total ACH amount for ZayZoon
Direct Deposit Register: The Third Party ACH section shows all of the ZayZoon individual amounts
Does this additional deduction affect my General Ledger service with Auris?
Yes, the deduction for ZayZoon and third-party ACH payments will require updated GL mapping, as it will appear as an unmapped item in the GL file and could cause import errors in your accounting software.
To complete this process, you will need to share the account for the preferred ZayZoon deduction mapping and the third-party ACH. Depending on your software, you may need to send us a copy of your updated chart of accounts.
Once mapping for ZayZoon is complete, the Auris GL team can regenerate any GL files to reflect the updated mapping.
Data Privacy & Security
What employee data does Auris share with ZayZoon?
Auris securely shares the data ZayZoon needs to calculate earned wage availability, including:
- Employee information
- Earnings and hours worked
- Pay period and pay schedule data
Only the data necessary to support the earned wage access calculation is shared. Auris remains the system of record throughout.
Is ZayZoon compliant with state Earned Wage Access regulations?
Yes. ZayZoon is purpose-built for EWA compliance and operates across all U.S. states. They maintain their own regulatory relationships and compliance framework. For state-specific compliance questions, contact your ZayZoon partner representative.
Does offering ZayZoon create any legal or financial liability for us as the employer?
No. ZayZoon manages all advance risk, compliance obligations, and repayment recovery independently. This structure is designed so that the employer does not take on additional financial or compliance liability. The employer’s role is limited to processing the repayment deduction through the normal payroll cycle, which happens automatically.
