To terminate an employee, from the main Onboarding screen, or View Employees, select the Employees tab. You may search for the employee using the search box, or you may browse for the specific employee.
Select the red Terminate button on the lower right hand of the employee record.
A screen will appear, which will ask you to select the termination type. The options are:
- Involuntary
- Voluntary
- Never Started
- Contract Ended
Involuntary refers to employees who have been fired, whereas voluntary refers to employees who have resigned their position.
Enter the employee’s last working day and select Save on the lower right.
The selected employee will then be moved to the terminated tab.
If you wish to reverse this decision, or rehire the employee, select the green Move Back to Employee button on the lower right and they will be moved back to the Employees tab.
